His love for his daughter was a powerful example of the love of God the Father, and his 54-year marriage to Judy shone as an example of fidelity and commitment to all who knew them. Together, they built not only the home they lived in in West Lafayette, IN, but also a life of love and joy while raising their daughter Suzanne “Suzy” (David) Younger. On September 16, 1967, Bob married his wife, Judy Harden, and they founded several businesses including Night & Day Formal Wear, The Sitzmark ski store, and RE/AIM (Real Estate, Appraisal & Investment Management), which they ran for over 30 years. After graduating from Warsaw High School in 1957, he attended Purdue University where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity, and served as the junior editor and photographer for the Purdue Exponent and senior editor of the campus humor magazine The Rivet. During high school, Bob was active as a saxophone player in the band and enjoyed water sports, boating and family vacations in Michigan. He lived his one life to the fullest!īob was born in Warsaw, Indiana, on Jto the late Loyd Duaine Poor and Mary Elizabeth (Wollen) Poor and he was raised alongside his siblings, James Seward, Amy Joanne, and William Edwin. She had been employed at New York Telephone Company and later was a Teachers Aid at Van Schaick School. They enjoyed 53 years together until his passing in 2014. She had moved to Watervliet in 1953 and graduated from Watervliet High School in 1955. ![]() Step daughter of the late Giuseppe Reale.
